Arm Fat Reduction & Skin Tightening in Dubai
For arms that feel heavy, loose or both — the first question is whether the problem is fat, skin laxity, or a combination of the two.
Arm Fat Reduction & Skin Tightening in Dubai
The upper arm rarely has just one problem. Most people have a soft pocket of fat sitting over skin that has already lost some of its elasticity — and each one makes the other look worse.
Treating only one of them is why arm contouring so often disappoints. This protocol treats both in a single appointment: a laser fibre beneath the skin to reduce the fat and tighten the tissue, and a collagen stimulator placed across the same area so that the arm settles onto skin that is actively rebuilding.

Two problems, treated together
Why fat removal alone falls short
Take the volume out of an arm with lax skin and you can be left with a smaller arm that hangs. The skin has nothing to drape over. This is the most common disappointment after body contouring — the measurement improves, the shape does not.
Why tightening alone falls short
Equally, tightening skin over a fat pocket that is still there will only ever produce a firmer version of the same silhouette. The contour you wanted is not reached, because the underlying volume was never addressed.
I combine treatments when I can identify two different problems — not because combining more treatments automatically produces a better result.
Is this the same as Endolift?
You may have seen this treatment advertised under a brand name. Endolift® is one Italian manufacturer’s trademarked version of a technique now performed on several laser platforms: a 1470 nm laser delivered beneath the skin through a fine optical fibre, which reduces localised fat and tightens the overlying tissue as it heats.
I know that platform well — I worked with it for years before moving, around three years ago, to the Forza system I use now: a 1470 nm fibre-coupled diode laser, CE-marked and FDA-cleared. The wavelength, the mechanism and the fibre approach are the same category of treatment. What actually changes your result is not the badge on the machine — it is whether the fullness under your chin is fat at all, and the settings and judgement used on the day
Three stages, one appointment
When Fat and Skin Laxity Are Both Part of the Problem, Each One Needs a Different Job.
01
Laser contouring
Through two or three entry points no larger than a pinhole, a fine laser fibre is passed beneath the skin. It does two things at once: it breaks down the localised fat so it can be drained, and it delivers measured thermal energy to the underside of the skin, which tightens tissue on the day and triggers a collagen response over the months that follow.
02
Collagen regeneration, with Lanluma
Immediately afterwards, and through the same access, a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator is distributed across the treated area. PLLA is not a filler — it adds no volume of its own. It prompts your fibroblasts to produce new collagen, so the skin thickens and firms gradually from within. Lanluma X carries 630 mg of PLLA per vial, a strength formulated for larger body areas such as the arms.
03
Recovery support
You are given a prescribed recovery course to take at home, along with a compression garment fitted to your measurements. The intention is to support tissue repair through the window in which the skin is remodelling, and to help swelling resolve more predictably. Two or three sessions of lymphatic drainage massage in the first ten days make a substantial difference to how quickly the arms settle.
This is likely to suit you if:
- You have a defined fat pocket in the upper arm with mild to moderate skin laxity
- Your weight has been broadly stable
- You would like a change in shape, not only in size
- You can take roughly a week of reduced activity
This is not the right treatment if:
- You have severe skin sagging or significant skin excess — that requires surgical excision, and no injectable or laser will substitute for it
- You are actively losing or gaining a large amount of weight
- You are looking for overall weight loss
What It Costs — and What You Are Actually Paying For
Arm contouring with laser fat reduction and collagen stimulation: AED 8,400.
This includes the procedure itself, the collagen stimulator where it is part of your treatment plan, the fitted compression garment and the prescribed recovery support. A consultation is required before the treatment is booked.
I do not price this treatment by how many entry points I make or by how many minutes the laser is used. The important question is how much of the arm actually needs treating, how much of the problem is fat, and how much is skin laxity. Those things determine the treatment area, the amount of energy required and whether collagen stimulation adds anything useful.
Some patients come in asking simply to make their arms “smaller.” But a smaller circumference is not always the same thing as a better arm contour. If I reduce volume from an arm whose main problem is loose skin, I may make the laxity more obvious. Equally, if I focus only on tightening when there is a substantial fat pocket underneath, the arm may become firmer without becoming meaningfully slimmer.
That is why the assessment happens before the treatment is booked.
We take standardized photographs and measurements, assess the distribution of fat and the quality of the overlying skin, and decide whether the plan should address fat, laxity, or both. Your compression garment also needs to be ordered to the correct measurements before the procedure day.
For many suitable patients, the laser treatment itself is performed in a single session. That does not mean the final result appears in one day. Swelling settles gradually, the contour becomes clearer over the following weeks, and collagen remodeling continues over the following months. I use the three-month review as the main comparison point before deciding whether anything further would genuinely improve the result.
And there is one situation where I would rather not take your money for this treatment at all: significant excess skin. If the arm requires surgical skin removal to achieve the result you are showing me, a laser or injectable treatment is not an arm-lift substitute. I will tell you that at the consultation.
The goal is not to sell you an arm procedure. It is to work out which layer is actually creating the shape — and whether treating it non-surgically makes sense.
Recovery, and what actually speeds it up
You will bruise. It is worth saying that plainly, because most pages describing this treatment imply you will not.
Bruising and swelling build over the first day or two and are usually at their most obvious for about a week. By around ten days most people are comfortable in company again. You wear a compression garment as instructed during that period.
What makes the biggest difference to that timeline is lymphatic drainage massage. Two or three sessions in the week to ten days after treatment speed the recovery considerably — the swelling clears faster and more evenly. I recommend it to everyone rather than treating it as an optional extra, and it is the single most useful thing you can do for yourself after this procedure.
You wear a compression garment continuously for the first one to three days, and then for eight to ten hours a day after that. It is less demanding than the compression required after surgery, and it matters most in the early period when the tissue is settling into its new position.
If you have an event coming up — a wedding in particular — have this done six to eight weeks beforehand. The bruising is long gone well before then, but the contour is still developing, and you want to arrive at the event looking at the result rather than at the process.
Your timeline
The treatment itself is a single afternoon. The result is not immediate, and it is worth understanding that before you begin.

What happens |
|
|
Before — consultation |
We assess whether laxity or volume is the dominant issue, take measurements and standardised photographs, order a compression garment in your size, and reserve the treatment time. Without this appointment, the treatment day cannot be properly prepared. |
|
Treatment day |
Approximately two hours, under local anaesthetic. You are awake and comfortable throughout and should not feel pain — most patients describe pressure and movement. You go home the same day, in your garment. |
|
Week one |
Swelling and bruising, and the arms feel firm and tender. This is the most visible phase and it is normal. The bulk of it settles over roughly a week. |
|
Weeks two to six |
Residual swelling resolves and the skin begins to retract. Firmness and small irregularities under the skin are common at this stage and soften as healing progresses. |
|
Month three |
New collagen takes time to lay down. The full effect of both the laser and the collagen stimulator is judged at around three months, which is when we take your comparison photographs. Improvement is visible well before then — but this is the honest endpoint. |

Frequently Asked Questions
For most patients, yes. Where laxity is at the upper end of what this protocol can treat, a second session of the collagen stimulator may be advised — assessed at three months, once the first result is visible. if the main problem is laxity after 3 month we might repeat Lanluma only to get tighter healthy looking skin.
No. Severe sagging and true skin excess need surgical removal. This protocol is designed for mild to moderate laxity combined with a fat pocket, and applying it to a case that needs surgery will disappoint you.
Around one week for the major swelling and bruising to settle. Lighter swelling can persist for several weeks. Most people plan the treatment so they are not in short sleeves for the first ten days or so.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and you should not feel pain during it. Afterwards the arms feel sore, tight and heavy — comparable to an unusually hard gym session — and this is generally managed with simple analgesia.
Lanluma X is supplied at 630 mg of PLLA per vial, a strength intended for larger body areas rather than the face. For a region the size of the upper arms, that quantity of collagen-stimulating material is practical. Sculptra is an alternative PLLA product and can be used instead if you prefer — we are happy to discuss both at consultation.
Yes. We need your measurements to order the correct compression garment, standardised photographs to assess the result against, and confirmation that you are a suitable candidate. We also block the necessary time in the schedule, which cannot be done on the day. If you are visiting dubai you may reach out with your arms and bust measurement if you wish to proceed with treatment possibly after consultation.
Light walking almost immediately. Upper-body training is restricted for one week and we will give you specific timings at your post-treatment review, as it depends on how much was treated.
No. Liposuction removes fat but does not tighten the skin that was holding it, which is why a large removal can leave an arm looking loose. Here the same thermal energy that breaks down the fat also contracts the tissue above it, and the collagen stimulator continues that process over the following months. Access is through pinhole entry points rather than surgical incisions, under local rather than general anaesthetic.
Sometimes, and it depends on how much total area is being treated in one sitting. It is discussed at consultation, where the deciding factor is what can be done safely and comfortably in a single appointment rather than what can be fitted in.
