IV Drip Therapy in JBR, Dubai
Doctor-led IV drips at Apogee Clinic, Address Beach Resort — before work, before the beach, or on your way home.
Start your day with an IV drip
Every IV drip at our JBR clinic starts with a doctor, not a menu. I examine you, review your blood results or order the tests you need, and prescribe the drip that suits you. Then you relax in a private room while a licensed nurse gives it, with a physician in the building throughout.
Many of my patients live or work around JBR and Dubai Marina, and their mornings are full. With an early appointment, you can come in, have your drip in about 30 to 60 minutes, and still get to work or the gym on time.
It also suits people staying in JBR: hotel guests after a long-haul flight, visitors in the summer heat, and anyone who wants to book a drip without travelling across the city.
Why a doctor-led IV drip is different
IV drips are a medical procedure. A drip that is right for one person can be unnecessary, or unsafe, for another. In Dubai, many drips are sold from a menu without anyone looking at your health first. My approach is the opposite:
• A consultation and examination first. Your history, medications and any conditions that affect which drip is safe for you.
• Guided by your blood results. If you have recent tests, bring them. If not, I order what is needed, so we treat what you actually lack.
Iron infusions require a specific assessment and blood tests before treatment.
• Given in a clinic, not a lounge chair. A private, calm room at Address Beach Resort, with medical support on site.
• A plan, not a one-off sale. I tell you whether you need a drip at all, which one, and how often. Sometimes the answer is a tablet, not a drip.
We offer a selected range of formulations containing vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Your consultation helps determine whether any of these options is suitable for you.
The ingredients below are highlights rather than complete ingredient lists. We discuss the prescribed formulation, its purpose and its limitations before treatment. Evidence for routine vitamin infusions in otherwise healthy people is limited, and an ingredient’s role in the body does not mean that an infusion will improve symptoms when no deficiency is present.
Our IV drip options
01
Hair & Glow
Key ingredients: vitamin C, biotin, zinc, vitamin B5, vitamin B12 and N-acetylcysteine (NAC).
Based on our Skin, Hair and Nail formulation, this option can be discussed during an assessment of hair shedding or concerns about skin and nail quality.
I assess whether nutritional factors may be contributing and whether testing or a targeted treatment is needed. Hair loss has several possible causes, so an IV drip is only considered within an appropriate treatment plan.
02
Women’s Vitality
Key ingredients: vitamin C, magnesium, inositol, NAC, vitamin B6, vitamin B9 and vitamin B12.
For women seeking advice about fatigue or feeling persistently run down, the consultation considers diet, menstrual history, sleep, medications and other relevant symptoms.
Testing is guided by that assessment. Where a deficiency is identified, we discuss the most appropriate way to correct it. This formulation is not a hormone treatment.
03
Men’s Vitality
Key ingredients: vitamin C, L-carnitine, taurine, magnesium, zinc and B vitamins.
This formulation is an option to discuss during an assessment of fatigue, nutritional concerns or a demanding work and training schedule.
I review your symptoms and current supplements before recommending treatment. The aim is to identify an appropriate clinical use; the drip is not a testosterone treatment or a guarantee of improved athletic performance.
04
Longevity & Recovery
Key ingredients: vitamin C, magnesium, trimethylglycine, proline, L-carnitine and NAC.
This formulation may be discussed as part of a broader review of your nutrition, health and recovery concerns.
We consider whether there is a specific reason for supplementation and how it fits into your overall care. The name describes the service category; it does not mean the infusion has been shown to reverse ageing or extend lifespan.
05
Immune Support
Key ingredients: vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, NAC and B vitamins.
For patients concerned about their nutritional intake or recurring periods of feeling unwell, assessment comes first. Persistent or recurrent illness may require investigation rather than supplementation alone.
These nutrients have roles in normal body function, but an IV infusion is not a proven way to prevent infections or replace appropriate medical treatment.
06
Travel & Hydration
Key ingredients in the Hydration+ formulation: vitamin C, magnesium, taurine, NAC and B vitamins.
Convenient for JBR residents and visitors seeking an assessment after travel or concerns about hydration.
We assess whether you need intravenous fluids, whether oral hydration is sufficient and whether any added nutrients are appropriate. The fluid volume and formulation are prescribed individually. Hydration treatment does not correct the body-clock disruption responsible for jet lag.
07
Iron Infusions
Key ingredient: a prescribed intravenous iron preparation, selected according to your clinical needs.
Iron treatment starts with a thorough consultation and blood tests, including a complete blood count (CBC), ferritin and iron studies. Additional investigations depend on your history and results.
I assess the severity and likely cause of your deficiency, your response to previous treatment and whether oral or intravenous iron is the more appropriate option.
If an infusion is indicated, you receive a personalised treatment course. The total dose, number of visits and timing depend on your results and the iron preparation used. We also arrange follow-up testing to assess your response.
You are monitored during treatment and for the required observation period afterwards. Your iron treatment plan and its cost are explained before you begin.
How your first visit works
Book your consultation. Message our team and let us know whether you have recent blood results.
Meet Dr. Shiva. We review your concerns, medical history, medications and supplements, followed by an examination.
Decide whether tests are needed. Testing depends on your condition and the proposed treatment. If no further tests are required and treatment is appropriate, a same-day infusion may be possible.
Receive your prescribed treatment. A licensed nurse administers the infusion in a private room, with a physician on site.
Leave with a clear plan. We explain whether further sessions are needed, when you should be reviewed and whether follow-up blood tests are appropriate.
For repeat visits, your nurse checks for changes in your health and medications before proceeding with your prescribed plan. New symptoms or concerns may require another medical review.
IV drip appointments around your day
Early appointments are available for patients who live or work around JBR and Dubai Marina.
Many standard vitamin infusions take approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the prescribed formulation and your response. Allow additional time for your first consultation. Iron infusions and any required observation may take longer.
Our private treatment room gives you a comfortable place to sit and relax while your nurse monitors your treatment.

| Subsequent standard IV drips | AED 800 | Your prescribed repeat infusion, administered by a licensed nurse |

If a drip is not recommended, our team will explain the consultation-only charge. You will not be asked to proceed with an unnecessary infusion.
Suitability and safety
An IV infusion is a medical procedure. Before treatment, please tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, previous infusion reactions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and all medications and supplements you use.
Conditions such as kidney or heart disease, G6PD deficiency and iron overload can affect which ingredients or treatments are appropriate. We consider these factors when prescribing.
Potential risks include bruising, discomfort, vein irritation, infection and reactions to ingredients. Fluid or electrolyte problems and serious allergic reactions can occur. Iron infusions also have preparation-specific risks and can cause skin staining if iron leaks outside the vein.
We explain the risks relevant to your prescribed treatment and monitor you throughout your visit.

NAD+ IV Therapy
Key ingredient: nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+).
NAD+ is a coenzyme naturally present in our cells, where it participates in energy metabolism and processes involved in cellular maintenance. These roles have made it a focus of research into ageing and metabolic health.
However, the role of NAD+ in the body is not the same as proof that an NAD+ infusion improves energy, concentration or longevity. Human evidence for these benefits remains limited.
If you are considering NAD+ therapy, I first review your goals, symptoms, medical history and medications. Blood tests are requested where clinically indicated. We discuss the available evidence, potential risks and alternatives before deciding whether to proceed.
NAD+ appointments may take longer than our standard vitamin drips. The prescribed dose, infusion rate and your tolerance determine the treatment time, with monitoring throughout.
Methylene Blue and Longevity Consultations
Key ingredient: methylene blue.
Methylene blue is a prescription medicine with established uses for specific medical conditions. Its effects on cellular energy pathways have also attracted research interest, but intravenous use for general wellbeing, cognitive enhancement or longevity remains experimental, with benefits not established.
For patients asking about this treatment, the consultation includes a detailed review of medications and supplements, relevant medical conditions and G6PD status. Methylene blue can cause serious interactions with medicines that affect serotonin, including certain antidepressants and opioids, and can cause haemolysis in people with G6PD deficiency.
An assessment does not automatically lead to treatment. I explain the evidence, uncertainties and individual risks before making a recommendation. Do not stop prescribed medication to make yourself eligible for an infusion.
NAD+ IV therapy is priced separately. The cost depends on the prescribed dose and the time required for your infusion and monitoring. A 500 mg infusion may take approximately three hours, while a 1,000 mg infusion may take around four hours or longer, depending on your tolerance and the prescribed infusion rate. Your dose, expected appointment duration and total price are confirmed before treatment.
Methylene blue follows our standard pricing: AED 1,200 for the first visit, including consultation and treatment where appropriate, and AED 800 for subsequent prescribed sessions. Any required blood tests are charged separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
An IV drip is not right for everyone. I may advise against it, or adjust it, if you have:
- heart failure or significant kidney disease
- pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless there is a clear medical reason
- certain metabolic or blood disorders, such as G6PD deficiency or haemochromatosis
- a known allergy to any ingredient
This is one of the reasons every first visit starts with a consultation.
Apogee Clinic is inside Address Beach Resort, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai. It is a short walk from The Walk, Dubai Marina and Bluewaters.
Yes. Every first visit starts with a consultation and examination with Dr Shiva. An IV drip is a medical procedure, and the right drip depends on your health, medications and, where needed, your blood results.
Not always. If you have recent blood results, bring them and we can often start the same day. If tests are needed, we order them and start once the results are back. For an iron infusion, blood tests are always required.
Most drips take about 30 to 60 minutes. Your first visit takes longer because it includes your consultation.
Yes. Early appointments are available so you can have your drip and still start your day on time. Book ahead so the drip is prepared for you.
Your first visit is AED 1,200, including your physician consultation, examination and first drip. Follow-up drips are AED 800. Blood tests, if needed, are priced separately.
It depends on why you are having it. Some patients need a short course, others one drip a month or only occasionally. Dr Shiva will recommend a plan at your consultation.
IV drips are generally safe when a doctor has assessed you and a licensed nurse gives the drip in a clinic. Possible side effects include bruising or discomfort at the needle site and, rarely, reactions to an ingredient. This is why we assess you first and monitor you during the drip.
Our drips are given in the clinic, where a doctor is on site. If you are staying at Address Beach Resort or nearby in JBR, the clinic is only minutes away.
That depends on the cause of your symptoms. Correcting a relevant deficiency may help, but fatigue and hair loss can have other causes. We assess those concerns before making a recommendation and do not promise a particular result from a drip.
It depends.
Some patients need one treatment.
Others require several reassessments.
Appropriate repeat treatments can be administered by our licensed nurse according to Dr. Shiva’s prescription and treatment plan, with a physician on site. If your health has changed or reassessment is needed, we arrange a medical review before continuing.
Your infusion is administered by Masarat, our licensed nurse, who holds a master’s degree in ICU nursing and has experience caring for patients in intensive care settings.
Dr. Shiva carries out your initial assessment and prescribes your treatment plan. During your infusion, Masarat monitors you and checks for any changes in your condition, with a physician on site throughout.
Once your treatment plan is established, suitable repeat sessions can be booked even when Dr. Shiva is not personally at the clinic. Any new symptoms or concerns are reviewed by a physician before treatment proceeds.
Yes. Glutathione IV is available at Apogee Clinic, Address Beach Resort, following assessment by Dr. Shiva. Your consultation includes a discussion of the formulation, potential risks and the limitations of the evidence for cosmetic benefits.
Glutathione has been studied for skin lightening, but evidence for intravenous treatment is limited and results are unpredictable. We do not promise whitening, a change in your natural skin tone or lasting pigment correction.
Unfortunately, no.
Many complications improve with appropriate management, particularly when recognised early, but outcomes depend on the type of complication, the product involved, the anatomy affected and how much time has passed before treatment.
There is no established course that guarantees a cosmetic result. Whether treatment is appropriate, and whether any repeat sessions are justified, is decided after assessment and review of your response.
